At a campsite in the White Mountains of Arizona off the beaten path. Awakened ~ 5:00 AM with some noise outside the van. There were about 40 head of elk and their fawns out for an early breakfast. Took the picture inside the van so as not to disturb the herd. It was 42 degrees that morning at the camp. How’s that for getting out of the mid-July heat in Phoenix!

Jawbone Canyon. We'd originally planned to stay in nearby Red Rock Canyon State Park, but it was full. So we took advantage of the dispersed camping available on BLM land at Jawbone.

2023 Texas Renaissance Festival Highland Fling weekend. I arrived on Thursday long before the crowds and set up hence the empty fields... 93 SMB E250 with RB11 interior. Joolca Ensuite double instant set 2 room shower tent with integrated ensuite plumbing. Joolca HOTTAP V2 hot water heater. I tried using my Coleman PackAway camp kitchen, but due to the leg design the space under the camp kitchen was wasted. Have since gotten a black friday deal on a Cabelas standard camp kitchen. Need to add an upright bar that can swivel into position and hold the faucet head with the magnetic holder and it should be done. The ensuite Awning is easy enough to set up, considering a van awning or tarp rig... The stainless fire pit is an Ozark Trail 15" which I prefer over the Solo Stove as the Ozark Trail packs away smaller but ends up when assembled with a much larger chamber volume for fuel.
