Turbos often times have some form of boost limiter to limit boost, if you don't have one, will boost pressures simple continue to climb sky high? Detroits have both turbos and superchargers to get more boost, would a bigger turbo do the same thing? Thanks........
Oh. No problem. So, factory turbo is good for 27-30 psi max. The factory map sensor can only read 35psi. I have larger turbo , Borg Warner S369. That turbo is good for 55+ psi depending on applications. You also need the fuel to get that turbo lit. I have 225/100 injectors. So fuel + bigger turbo = more boost

Sure have... at 90-95mph my EGT is around 850-900 degrees ... EOT / ECT is 190's and when I step in HARD and stay in it will touch 1600 on EGT. All that is completely fine.

That's pretty amazing. My cruising EGTs at 70mph on flat ground are 800-900F. Max I'll push it too is 1400F. That's with the pyro mounted pre-turbo. I'm at ~400HP with my mods.

Either way good luck keeping it together! Keep us informed! Aluminun tolerance is 1200* if the temp is influxed it can take it but add a load and ? However if the temp in the cylinders work in conjunction with the pressure of that temp would it not take longer for the melt to start? Like a coolant in a radiator under pressure the boiling point is higher! I dkw just thinking out loud!
