I finally did this on my own van... but then had to modify the Bushwackers to fit. Turns out it's super easy, just slice the very bottom of the flare, from the van out, then over lap the two sides and glue. Presto, looks like it was never touched.

Unless you crawl under the van and look under the horizontal part of the back of the flare. But I think that's probably not something many folks will do.

so im confused a little (nothing new). what conversion company and what size tires was the van running that you had to do this mod??
I just switched to 315/70/17's from 285/75/16's and the only rubbing I had was on the front bumper. all I did was the typical inch at the bottom of the bumper that angled up to the top corner to match angle of wheel well. the rubbing was very minimal... barely enough to warrant the mod. my van is a 03 7.3 Quigley with an agile rip kit.
either way, nice work and great write up rally! did you do the paint work as well?

Short answer is.. They're all different! Theoretically identical vans will have slightly different heights and clearance issues.
Long answer is mine is a 01 7.3 Quigley with RIP, and with custom arms that move the axle forward an inch.. but still had rubbing with 315/75-16s while turning over bumps. So presto, hack up the fender and flares and I'm good to go.
