Count me in for a set as well as soon as they are available. I have a new fiamma I've never mounted because I have not had the time to make proper brackets and do not like the SMB setup. YOur's look really nice.

Fiamma Mounts

Sorry for the delay guys. I am now up and walking, albet, slowly and with some pain and difficulty. I started working light duty this week at the fire house. I will try and find a fabricator and get these made asap. I hope to have them for you before Thanksgiving adventureduo. I checked the price for the Fiamma VW mounts and they are around 190 a pair prior to any fabrication. I do not know what it will cost me to have them build, but I hope to have them cheeper than that. I will post as soon as I have somthing.

Eli

SMB Outfitters awning mounts

OK guys and girls, I have found someone that can fabricate the mounts for me. The price for an order as small as 10 pairs of mounts(which is as big as I am willing to start at without confirmed pre-orders) is about $120 per pair without paint or ruberized coting and shiping. I am thinking of $180 per pair to cover any unforseen cost. I pay 190 per pair for the Fiamma's and then spent a day modifiying them. I belive that these will be a much better product. Please let me know if this sounds good and if you are seriously intrested. I am trying to make them as cost effective as possible.

Thanks

Eli

Can the foot be made bigger? The part that rests against the van? It looks like there is pressure on it (seems to be denting a bit even next to the window) which is possibly going to cause problems with flexing/dents/ and cracking despite no holes.

Otherwise fantastic!

SMB Outfitters awning brakets

In regards to jage's question about making the rear foot larger, I am planning on extending the foot or base plate up to where it folds under the rain gutter. I think this will go a long way to dispurse the load, and the corner under the rain gutter is a much stronger area.
