Very nice! Was there weekend before last for 3 days, headed that way Thursday after work for 4 days. Owyhees are our pre and post season every year.

Shenrie, isn't that where you pointed us to camp one time?

I sent you out to succor creek. It’s technically in the owyhee’s and there is a lot of cool things to see in that area, but it’s not “deep in the hearta” so to speak. The owyhee desert and mountains are vast, cover a lot of ground, and have a lot of varying terrain. I don’t recognize the specific spot the op is at, but you can find cool rock formations like that all through the owyhee range.

That's right, Succor Creek. Knew it had to be close though. I want to get back out there soon, in a van this time. Jarbidge is on my radar too. I've always wanted to visit.

Succor creek and Leslie gulch are easy to access and both areas have great scenery. If you get back out this way lmk. I’m very familiar with the area. We’ve found camp spots out there where we didn’t see other humans for 3-4 days at a time. Well other than a ranch owned helicopter and privately owned planes. There’s gotta be an airstrip close by, lol.

Jarbidge is an area I’d like to check out too, but it’s out of reach with the wife’s condition. Be neat to do some of the floats out there too. They look amazing.

Jarbidge is definitely worth a trip. Coming in from the south over Bear Creek Summit is absolutely spectacular. The views are amazing in every direction. Very good dirt road though it does get quite steep in a couple places on the final drop into town. Lots of nice camping spots upstream from town. Hunting season can get a little crowded.
