Blacked out my tail lights! Rustoleum makes a translucent black spray paint that works great!

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Finally got around to replacing the house fuse panel. The old one was cutting out, you had to give it some persuading once in awhile otherwise none of the house electronics worked all the time. I suspect the main bus bar that makes contact was not seated anymore. I had to re-route a few wires and cleaned up the general mess that was left from factory. Next on the wiring list is to (with the help Ive received from a member here) install a relay to stop the shore power and solar from charging the starting batteries and remove or install switch to do away with the starting assist using the sure 1315 separator.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

We had a dedicated 110 electrical outlet added to our 2011 Sprinter at Sportsmobile Texas. We did this for two reasons. First, during the winter in the Texas Hill Country we can plug in a small electric heater to keep the interior temperature above freezing without running the inverter. Second, we have an all electric system and during the summer while running the air conditioning we had trouble using an induction cook top or toaster oven or other high amp appliance for a lengthy period of time without having to turn off the air conditioning. The dedicated outlet has solved that problem. We are the second owners of this van and if I were designing one from scratch I would select 50-amp service.

It's definitely better, but needs full replacement..

What did you do to your SMB today?

No rubbing when just sitting and turning the wheel, there is a little rubbing on the back side of the front tires on that inner fender pinch tab that sticks out when driving over dips, I'm going to have to lop that off. Keep in mind that I have CCV's adjustable arms up front that pushed the axle forward by about an inch or so, and Ramsey's rip kit, so tolerances allowed for the larger tires, I have not gotten it up on a curb or rock to check articulation clearances, I'm hoping and thinking it'll be ok except for the back of the front fender. Either way, I wanted a better tire for all round travel, esp in the snow, those Toyo M/T were not great in snow/ice, supper tough though. By the way if you couldn't tell, I went with Goodyear duratrac, the nice thing is the sidewall on this size is 3 ply, a bonus as I read a few posts on people having issues with sidewall puncture or failure with the 2 ply on these tires. Not sure what size they start adding the triple ply to these tires, but that added to my piece of mind.

Wonder how they'll do in sand?

Sorry Rick, couldn't resist.
