When things get hot, the weakest link breaks under enormous pressure, but cooler engines, together with slowing down a little, will keep your engine going long.

Great hear your good results. Cheers.
Can't say I'm slowing down but between the radiator, hood louvers, wrapped pipes, and possibly the bigger transmission cooler I'm running ~10F cooler than previously. On my last trip to Fruita/Moab from Flagstaff the cooling fan never came on once. That's running both a PCM 65rwhp tune and the FICM flashed with the Atlas40. Tranny temp peaked at 165F.

Started work on a galley box for the side door. I'm finding out why they're so expensive if you want to do it right. I'm using baltic birch for the build and so far it's going quite well. A good table saw is priceless!

galley box : ) Your "Baltic Birch" project should add to the camp-conversations...

Before our aluminess-galley box install we had used this little DIY gem my MacGirlver made out of two to-be-tossed wine crates from the Costco we work at. It was quite the conversation starter at many gatherings.

Cheers Doug.
Yeah Doug, the quality was what I was after. Hard to say if the performance radiator dropped the temps much because I'm running a programmer but the temps are fairly close to the original on flat ground using a 60HP tune...hill run test is next. Last on the list will be a remote trany cooler but I might not be able to mount it up unless I can find some more room. I'll save that for another day.

Nice beer BVerhulst! That's made across the street from my office. A great idea too, I did the same.

Got the carpet up on the new walls got the door panels up and painted the plastic door trim to match. Finished building the seats mount got them painted and with any luck will install the seats tomorrow.
