Re: What did you do to your SMB today?
Hi;
Pntyrmvd and I sat in it; laughed and dreamed about our next trip.
Regards,
Gavin

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?
- replaced front barn door seal, old one was ripped
- replaced aluminess door pivot bolt, they'd supplied a black whatever coated one which rusted, they sent me a stainless now they have them back in stock
- finished almost all of new stereo Kenwood DNX6980 install, just need to install rear camera now
- zip tied up winch power cables, still need to extend positive one a bit

FordPartsGiant.com, I think it was $65 ish. Closing door feels all posh and cushy now. I was able to reuse some of the old plastic clips from the old seal and fix a few of the other door seals up. This seal was by far the worst though, ripped in 2 places.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?
Not really a project, but I dressed the van up in it's winter rain coat.
We're looking forward to at least a good week of rain, welcome after a 7 week drought.
I also pulled out the Honda 2kw generator and ran it on a light load for 1/2 hour, something I try to do at least every 6 weeks when it's not being used.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?
Got my rig back from my mechanic. A full checkup revealed no hidden problems in either the motor or chassis. This is great news since it is an 89 and I did not check it out thoroughly when I bought it a year ago. The rear springs were flat so Benz Springs re arc them and added a leaf to the pack. He also replaced the rear gas shocks that had been damaged because of the spring pack sagging and bottoming out the shocks. The ride is smoother and am looking forward to spring travels.
