I am looking for something flexible, do you have a model to suggest ?
why flexible? mine are probably 10 years old at this point, mounted to my roof and have been surprisingly durable given where I've taken this thing (not to mention the PO).

The new lower profile fixed panels look amazing for the top of an SMB.

I’m just going to give you something to consider:
By the time you’ve reached your destination (and since you drove to get there) your batteries are probably charged via the alternator. So you select a spot, more than likely in some shade if it’s available. So roof panels will not help much during your stay. Solar suitcase panels on a long cord allow you to capture sunlight wherever it’s available - while your Van remains as cool as possible courtesy of the shade you took advantage of.
I have two 120wt panels on a “Y” connection, at the end of a 100ft cord. I have very little problem replenishing my batteries. And since there are two at the end I can position them to take advantage of the potential sun for most of the day without having to hang around and tend them to keep facing the sun.
The high output panels on the roof only help when you are parked in the sun - but then so is the Van.
Again, just something to take into account, as you ponder what panels to put on the roof.
