I'll second what JWA said:

So for BrianBlair, or anyone else contemplating this and seeing this thread, we just had our Ravelco installed by an authorized installer, it took 2 hours, he did a great job, and even after seeing it done and the installer explaining it to me, I would not attempt it on my own.
I'm reasonably handy, have done a few stereo installs, remodeled bathrooms, etc. still wouldn't do it on my own.
A lotta opportunity to make mistakes and the consequence are your truck won't run after the install; right away or maybe a year down the road.
Anyway, my perhaps too cautious opinion, I hope it's more helpful than annoying.
