Stereo and House battery

I purchased a 2014 Sportsmobile RB50 this past week; along my long trek home (1600 miles), I noticed a few things and started researching a bit. I noticed at night my stereo stopped working if I stopped and shut down the vehicle. It did it 3 nights in a row. I went to raise the roof with the Van running (again at night) and it wouldn’t raise. Looked at the house battery display and it was around 7.5-8v. Obviously during the day it’s fine with solar panels picking up the charge.
My question is should this be a simple fix as in just replacing the house battery? My next question is about the radio and/or radio switch; Is there a way to bypass that switch or should I just replace the switch? (I think it’s bad) I think that because last night I was trying to figure out the radio situation and the red LED was lit up regardless of which position it was in. I should note that the radio always powers up regardless of the battery selection or charge but no sound comes from the speakers if I stop turn off the van and and restart my trip.

I appreciate any guidance.

Might be time to check voltage at the battery with a multimeter to make sure. Sounds like the batteries may well be shot. Can you have them load tested somewhere?

The red light on my switch illuminates regardless if the switch is in van or house mode when the radio is on. If in van mode and the vehicle is off, the light is not illuminated and the radio is off. Sounds like the switch might be bad.

When the radio is on house batteries, it can drain the batteries. Good chance you have an Amp that is powered from the house batteries when the radio is on. Shouldn't drain that much overnight though.

Nice looking van.

Just to update. House Battery was shot; everything seems to be working as it should.
