Water pressure pump replacement
Looks my Shurflo 2088-403-144 water presure pump died, when I look around I can't seem to find a new one, what are people recommending as replacement, does Shurflo has a newer model? I found a post here about someone replacing it with another much more quiet model but that model is also sold out as it looks.

Shurflo does have a newer model that replaces the old one, can’t recall the number offhand but a search should turn it up.

What actually died? Runs but does not pump ? Does not run at all even when 12v is applied to the terminals?
The motors pretty much last forever unless the corrode out.
The pressure switch can fail, wiring connections can fail, the switch on the counter can fail, the diaphragm module can fail. There are replacement parts for all of those.
If this is in a Sportsmobile then the water lines are likely cut and crimped for the pump and its location. Any change of configuration will probably require modifying the pipe runs.

Does not run at all but has 12V on the terminals, didn't run probably for the last 5 - 6 years since the previous owner never used the build-in water system.
Did a bit more research and it looks like SHURFLO 4008-101-A65 New 3.0 GPM RV Water Pump Revolution, 12V is the replacement part, can someone confirm?

Once you get your system running, highly recommend flushing it and sanitizing it before use.
If you plan on hooking up to outside water source at any time then I'd also suggest you purchase a water regulator (I set mine to 25psi, since I’ve encountered several spots that get close to 60psi...you'll find large variances to what you get out there and you don't want to over-pressurize your system).
A hose designed for drinking water (not just any garden hose - and 1/2" is fine). An in-line filter; I place my filter at the source, then the regulator, then the hose to the van so everything has filtered water running through it.

Water pressure pump replacement
AFAIK, Shurflo city water inlets, like SMB typically uses, have a pressure regulator built in.

I keep mine down in the 25 range to minimize the chance of bursting a line, or having one of the fittings pop off - you usually don’t discover that issue until a good amount of water has already seeped out. Keeping the pressure on the lower side also helps reduce excess water usage. Overly cautious ? Probably.

Ah, gotcha. Yes that makes sense. Unless maybe you have a shower in the van, there’s no need for 60psi.

Not sure if it's the same part # but might be plug and play. https://shop.fieldvan.com/shurflo-water-pump/
