That wood interior with the gray is a much better combination than I would have guessed.

So are you camping nearby over the pickup weekend, and then heading back to take care of any small issues you might find? Better to get them addressed right away. As has been mentioned in other threads, bring a camcorder to capture the walk-through of how to operate all your systems.

Congrats!

That's the plan. We are going to go camping Saturday/Sunday, thinking Shaver/Dinkey Creek area. We'll do some 4X4 on Saturday. Hopefully everything will be perfect, if not we'll head back to SMB on Monday. Got the video camera, notepad and wife to help me remember eveything. I've been around RV's and 4X4's all my life so I am pretty familiar with the basics, just need to apply them to the SMB.

Re: Build finalized - 4/26/11 start date

I am in heaven! SMB exceeeded my expecatations, I couldn't be happier. Why I waited so long to buy a SMB is beyond me.

List of near term mods
- Bushwacker fender extensions (install tonight)
- Rhino coat side steps, I slipped on our first camping trip, it's a long way down... (tomorrow)
- Aluminess rear bumper with tire carrier ( on order, ETA 2 weeks)
- Kyocera 185w solar panel ( looking for a good deal, is 1 panel enough?)
- Then I'm done spending money on my SMB
