Re: 2013 E350 New Build

This has to be the best vanless mock up I've seen. It's going to be fun to watch these pieces go into the van. Great job with the photo documentation. Keep 'em coming.

Nice-looking boxes! It's a shame, though, that they didn't leave off the big "Highway Products" nameplates since they were being used inside (at least the custom ones).

I agree, having a nice, locking metal box inside for camera and other gear is a great idea.

Re: 2013 E350 New Build

Thanks, guys. It's been fun playing around with the space. It's a lot easier to change things now than later.
I went to the shop after it got dark last night and ran a couple strings over the top, at about the ceiling height, and hung my LED lights up. Doing this allowed me to see that I needed to order 2 more lights.

I agree, BrianW. I gave them a hard time about those.
It will be an easy fix though. Just drill out 2 aluminum rivets on each box and slide a plug in the holes.

Re: 2013 E350 New Build

I got good news from Aluminess today. They will finish building my rack on Monday and send it off for powdercoat. They should have it back by November 4th so they can l ship it, the rear bumper w/ swing arms, and the side ladder. Pretty stoked...

Ordered two 15x30 awning windows from Nick at Sportsmobile and I should have those before the end of next week.

Sent Quigley an e-mail to see if they finished my van and got it shipped out. Surprise surprise....no response.

I guess I should leave more often. When I got home my shed was full of UPS and FedEx boxes.
5 wheels, two awning windows, more insulation, passenger seat swivel base, Thule cargo box, etc, etc....

Test fit the wheels. Going to have a tire mounted on Monday to check the clearance.

Got the Buckstop bumper on.
