The metal cabinets are looking much nicer now that they are enclosed in wood!
What wood are you using to build your cabinets? Looks like 3/4 ply of some sort. For edging it looks like you may be using the "iron-on" stuff mostly, with some vinyl edging also? I'm looking to redo some (or all) of my SMB-spec cabinets with real wood this winter and am torn between 1/2" for weight and to match the original cabinets (which I will use as templates) or 3/4" for general availability and ease of edging.

Thoughts?
Hey Brian,
I used 3/4" Birch ply for the boxes and 3/4" Cherry wood for the face frames. I used 3/4" Cherry ply for the end panels, doors, or anything that would be exposed and iron on edging on those.
I've been a very good girl this year, and I only want one thing--Skinny's van!
That is some seriously professional looking work, Skinny. I love the bed over the custom wheelwell cabs, which is more or less how I've been planning to do mine.
Many thanks for such a great build thread. Lots of inspiration here.
Cheers,
Dia
