Another build starting to take shape!

I'm finally at a stage with this build where I can begin the final assembly so what better time than now to post some teaser shots.

The van is a 2013 Eseries extended body passenger van. V10, 4x4, pop top.

The door panels are all aluminum then upholstered and detailed out with stainless or nickel plated hardware.

Flooring material is 2tec2 vinyl (the color is Eclipse) over a subfloor...that sits on top of my floor plate system. The side step and front/rear trim are formed aluminum, the side step requiring a bunch of fab work to follow the same transition as the front trim. I took some extra time to step down the edge of the floor so the trim is flush with the flooring surface.

You can also see the custom seat bases in one photo. This van came to me with Scheel-Mann seats already in it but the owner wanted more leg room, a little under seat storage and a flatter seating position. Of course none of the available swivels would work or look decent with how I wanted to do things so I made my own swivel.

The driver side cabinet will house the electronics panel, fridge, storage and have stainless countertop. Bed platform has two large storage drawers that pull out the back and a large storage in the front. I've test fit all of the parts outside of the van and now that the floor is in, I can do the final fit up test inside the van before powdercoating some of the pieces.

There's still a bunch of things to do but I can see the finish line just a little ways in the distance.
