Oh man I don’t know how I missed this! LS swap? Count me in! Which one did you use? Is it running now? How’s the performance? Gas mileage?

I bet there's a great big grin on your face when you stand on the gas pedal.

"I don’t see any reason why it can’t be smog legal, you can totally add catalytic converters o2 sensors and honestly run cleaner than any 1976 vehicles on the road…"

My hemi swap with converters is great. The hard part is getting the gas fumes from the tank into the engine rather than the atmosphere. The whole stinking mess has to be considered not just the engine side of emissions.

Its fully running and driving now, it’s been rather surprising how functional it is… I took my time and tried to everything right on the first go around, I’m not sure of gas mileage but seems pretty easy on the fuel.. and power !! I have yet to put entirely to the floor. It’s enough to scare the passengers! Hills are nothing for this thing.
Can’t say enough about the LS swap it truly makes that vintage car, whatever it is up to todays standards….

Ford and chevy guys are way more understanding than bmw and especially porsche folks. Our shop has stuffed ls motors in most everything. I have yet to see any customer not be gloriously satisfied with the end result no matter what the chassis. Good choice and very cool end result!!

If you ever need more hp, find yourself some ls3 heads cause from looks of those pix it damn near looks like an lsa blower would fit. Panty dropping hp like that with a bed in back? Danger will Robinson!

This is simple amazing. Love the vintage vibes and the LS swap was an amazing idea. I keep saying that I will buy a Transit once Ford puts the new PowerBoost in one... 430hp, 525ftlb of torque, and 26mpg highway.
