It's tempting, and your so close, but alas Mrs A/T has me on a budget if I want to stay retired. Want to trade for a Perkins 6354-4 marine diesel engine? I bought it as a spare for my boat, but came to realize I will never need it cuz they never break down and will run 10K hours no problem.
We're quite land locked here in Alberta so not sure what kind of project I could come up with to shove that Perkins in

The Perkins is quite popular with the tractor and forklift folks, not to mention farm pumps and other equipment. It's not really the right engine for a van though.
