How to improve gas mileage E350 4x4

I have a 2014 E350 4x4, and its getting about 8MPG in the city, seem normal? Any recommendations on how to MPG is appreciated!

With my 2wheel drive, on a recent trip driving around 63 mph and street tires I get right at 17 MPG. At 70-75 mph it would drop to 16-15.5 mpg.

The van was empty but I had a DRZ400 loaded.

V10? What size tires are you running? Is your Speedometer accurate with the larger tires?

What is your “city” drive cycle like? Lots of short trips? Or suburban driving where you get up to 50 but have to stop at every light? Single digits isn’t totally unexpected in those conditions. But more moderate in-town driving where you can at least make it a while between lights is typically a bit better.

Best achieved when you don't calculate it, and just enjoy the ride!

Normal for in city driving. Expect about 10-11 on the highway.

Running BFG All-Terrain T/A 285/70 R17 at 60PSI in the front and 80PSI in the rear per SMB. Definitely some hills in my area of town... Thanks for the response.

This....SMB's are like the old saying about motorhomes. If you need to know how many mpg's it gets you don't need to own it.

And, your mileage really isn't going to increase no matter what you do but you are beating yourself up running that kind of tire pressure. About 55-60 front and rear will greatly improve handling and especially comfort. Some run even less. That answer from SMB makes no sense but most manufacturers and fleets recommend it.
