Vincent, I'm not an expert on drivetrain components on these Vans, but I believe you should first contact Quigley since they did the 4x4 conversion. It's my understanding if you provide them with the Van's VIN Number they can tell you exactly what you need (I have no idea if the 2WD and 4WD units used the same drive shaft & u-joints, but it would seem logical they would have moved to a larger one after installing a transfer case & shortening the drive shaft)

Here is a link utilizing 'size' charts:
https://www.google.com/search?q=ford...a46TyM&vssid=l

I received your e-mail and will wait 2 more days before I ship the tail lights. This way if you locate the correct u-joints you can let me know and i will hold off sending the lights until I receive the u-joints since I can probably get a better deal on shipping them together...just let me know if you find what you need through Quigley or utilizing the 'size' charts.

Vincent:

What are the dimensions that you need for D1/D2 and G1/G2?

..assuming D1=D2 and G1=G2

EDIT: I see that D1/D2=26.97mm......still need G1/G2

Vincent...this has proved to be a bit of a challenge.......

Your image above shows both the yoke width and end to end bearing cap distance to be 95mm.....

Can you re-measure the width of the U-Joint end-to-end across the bearing caps?

If they are 92mm end-to-end there are lots of U-joints that size......

A 95mm yoke width with 1.5mm retaining rings would need a 92mm wide U-joint.

Thanks

They do make a UNOINT that converts two different sized yokes. Are you saying two sides match up and two sides are wider/smaller? I can get the part number for the one I am aware of if this is the case.

I stumbled across Strange Engineering and indeed they offer various conversion U-joints; however I couldn't find one suitable for this application.

If the OP's u-joint is 92mm across the bearings end to end, then there are plenty of candidates. If it's truly 95mm/3.75" width and 27mm/1.062" bearing cap diameter I'm coming up empty handed...which doesn't make sense...at least to me.
