Yep, can confirm. I put the smallest Truckfridge (TF-49) in my van after seeing DOZENS of people on theSamba.com using them to replace the old absorption-style fridges on Westfalias. Danfoss compressor is easily visible on the back of the unit when it's out of the cabinet.

Mine is the DC-only (slightly cheaper than the AC/DC model), and I have a on oversized shore-power charger so I can just plug the whole van in and pre-chill the fridge without draining the battery, etc.

During COVID, we've actually had that fridge running in the driveway since March because we've been keeping extra milk, eggs, butter, and beer on hand so as to minimize the # of trips to the store. Perfect operation.

Evidently I wasn't the only one "preparing"... only difference is I only had "Corona light" jammed into the Van's fridge chilling...its all about priorities.
(Wife purchased 8 cases for me at that time intending "Corona light" to represent the magnitude of my reaction in the event of contracting the virus)

I got a portable National Luna 90L AC/DC 2 zones separate controls. Took quite a while for it to get into the US but so far so good....I like it. It's big, 5 removable baskets but makes it easy to load/unload. The extra space is nice when you have it, I'll mix my "fuel" in the camelbak bladder and put the whole backpack in the fridge for a MTB ride/race the next morning just to save time.

3 years on the Fridge and 8 year warranty on the compressor.

Can also confirm boat fridges are the same as rv fridges. Company i works from purchases our 12v fridges from a local marine distributor. Isotherm have worked great for us, norcolds have had some issues (they are also super inefficient in terms of useable space).

I am also less than happy with Norcold right now. I have a 7 ft^3 Norcold fridge/freezer, and it stopped making cold and started making frost. It turns out that
1) the hinge broke, preventing the doors from closing. This took 2 months for Norcold to send out the replacement hinge.
2) The door seals have collapsed. The way the doors are made, the seals are NOT replaceable - you have to replace the whole door. So that's now on order - and we shall see how long that takes.
If I could find a replacement for my fridge - one that would go into the same hole and have similar capacity - I'd seriously consider it.
