Hello from Seattle

Hello y'all I'm about halfway through a 4x4 conversion of a 2009 E350. This forum has been a great resource. I have some questions and some parts to sell, so time to stop lurking.

About me: PNW transplant from Colorado, but after living in Seattle for more than 20 years, I consider myself naturalized. Cars and motorcycles are my main thing, I've owned a couple 90s E150 conversion vans before getting a '09 passenger wagon, with the plan of rolling my own 4x4 adventure van.

On the way to the PIR swap meet earlier this year.

Cheers
-AJ

Nice looking van. Please do everything you can to keep it from being stolen, Seattle is currently a hotbed for vehicle theft. https://www.sportsmobileforum.com/fo...mic-29303.html

Yeah car theft/break ins have been terrible here in the past few years, fortunately I have access to gated parking for my van right now and plan to install the OEM Ford remote start/security with PATS, it's a factory RKE van so PATS can be added. The install looks pretty gnarly, but I'm sure I can figure it out. Already removed and blanked the passenger door key cylinders and put a Jimmi' Jammer in the drivers door.

Thanks for the link, the Ravelco system looks interesting. My daily is a 2009 Crown Vic and I have to park it on the street. Installed a hidden ignition cut off relay in it, not quite as fancy as that set up, but unless you knew exactly how I installed it, you would have tear the entire car apart to figure it out.

Planning on adding hidden AirTags to every vehicle I own... eventually... it's ruff out there
