good old Google

This site came up in Google when we were looking for info and used Sportsmobiles for sale. We had gotten interested about a year ago, but just recently started looking seriously...and within a week we found one, went up to look at it, and as of Saturday, I guess we have a Sportsmobile!

(I am amused that the spellchecker on this forum doesn't recognize "Sportsmobile" as a legal word. Or "spellchecker", for that matter!)

I'm guessing it's part of the browser. I know I have it turned on for firefox. It saves me from embarassing truck ups.

Yeah - you'll notice, when you're typing in the little box, that words that aren't words (like jage, windom, foobar) get underlined in little red dots.

At least, I'm seeing the red dot underlines. If I right-click on one of those underlined words, I get suggestions for what I might mean. Apparently "jage" might mean age, jag, sage, rage, or cage; "windom" is either wisdom or window (actually, it's a mountain here in SW Colorado); and you probably don't want to know what it thinks "foobar" might be. It's entirely possible that this spell checker comes from one of my many Firefox extensions, though.

Despite being a SMB owner since 2002, just heard about both sites from a fellow owner here in southern LA...one of at least 3 Sportsmobiles here in Manhattan Beach.

Hmmm, I did so much research last summer and fall, I can't really remember, but the guess would be Google. I belong to the Yahoo SMB owner group also, diesel and 4x4 vans, trying to learn by osmosis.
I wish it was a faster process.

I heard of you from an RV.net... One thread had a specific question about Sportsmobiles, and a member posted the URL and said to check here for specific answers....

I'll bet it was me. I whor.... er, upsell the forum all over.

You should look into Colorado Ken's van- it just went up for sale up in your neck of the woods... that's if you're looking for 4x4.
