It is Spring and inspecting my van. I have DampRid to collect excess moisture. Unfortunately, one of the DampRid containers was knocked over sometime during the Winter, spilled water on a shelf, and soaked into the fiberboard under the lining. Thus, causing blisters/bubbles at several spots on this shelf. I wish to get rid of them. How can DIY this repair?
Thank you

Other than replacing the shelf, could consider “masking” the damage with something like 1/8” self adhesive rubber matting - I put this in all my drawers to keep stuff from sliding around and prevent any rattling. Also have it on a couple shelves for the same reason.
