Chiming in.

My '93 standard length E250 roof sags at the front as well, much like the pic in the first post. Haven't noticed much sagging in the rear and it hasn't splayed over the gutters. I have two solar panels mounted towards the back as well.

Motivated me to put ventvisors on my windows. Easy to forget and receive a free shower if you move the van with the windows down after a little rain.

No plans to do anything further at this point.

hey folks
here's a reply from someone at smb texas see attachment

personally I am going to replace the rubber gasket and call it a day on mine.

I will have to change a bunch of stuff around up there eventually maybe I could incorporate a stiffening structure into new solar panel mounts..

Mwood its always nice when there is a follow up. Dont think Smobiles response is a workable solution as the problem is the gutter width top interface...
However when you replace the bumper make sure you stretch it prior to pinning. That helps with the "dress".
Also when lowering, nudge the bumper bottoms in to the gutter area for a while, don't leave it in a splayed position as that exacerbates the issue.

Cheers
