Roof beam location

I have a 2013 E150 with an intact roof liner with the AC vents. I want to install a fan near the rear and keep the liner intact. Does anyone know how to measure to miss the roof beams. My intent is to build a small frame to allow clearance for the fan duct. Ideas and comments? Thanks

Mine is a 2006, but shouldn‘t all crossmembers be where you have these pins holding the headliner up?

If that's no the case, you should be able to just push up on the headliner and feel them.

Yep, cross members are where the flat round push pins are present holding the roof liner in place.

Keep in mind the roof AC duct is part of the headliner, it is not separate.
