Re: Pics of what you tow with your Sportsmobile
Shenrie - that laurel is gorgeous. Would love a Hakosuka or Ken/meri in the near future.

Re: Pics of what you tow with your Sportsmobile
I know it's not a SMB, but I just hauled this home today:
1975 Lincoln Continental that has been in my great aunt's garage since new. It is almost exactly the same length as my EB350 and with the trailer, over 7k lbs! I really need to hurry up and change gears in the rear end, the 5.4l was feelin' it!

Re: Pics of what you tow with your Sportsmobile
Very cool, but looks like a big boat anchor for your van.
What are the plans for it?

Re: Pics of what you tow with your Sportsmobile
Boat anchor is right! It's not squatting the van as much as it seems, the camburg lift is 5.5" up front and only 2.5 in the rear (making it just slightly nose high to begin with) and I've got probably another 800-1000lbs of junk at the back of the van.
The car is part of her estate and nobody wants it for their own personal use so we are going to sell it. I have no idea where to even start as far as pricing goes, but it is a smog exempt, low mileage, big block (460) car so hopefully someone will find that desireable. I only towed it because the tags are long expired and I didn't have the time to give it a once over before picking it up.

Too bad it's not a convertible. Still looks like it could be a great cruiser though.

Re: Pics of what you tow with your Sportsmobile
I'm with Tony, not exactly towing but it's what I carry. Sometimes inflatable SUP. I've never towed anything with the SMB.

Re: Pics of what you tow with your Sportsmobile
These are lousy pics of the van, but here's a picture with our 24' travel trailer in tow (right front of pic) at Cougar Buttes/ Johnson Valley this February:
I had to put the little stock tires/wheels on for this trip as I still need to regear.
One of our fellow campers climbed the ~200' rock next to our camp and took this shot:
... which reminds me, I need to scrub the funk off the roof of the trailer!
