One popped up here locally and was already removed... yet somehow the media (and the mayor) are making it out like the people that removed it are the vandals? Good grief. https://www.ksby.com/news/local-news...dero-city-says

Is this for real. Was the whole thing a publicity stunt?

That looks to be 100% PhotoShop'ed---well done but not quite the way it really was!

Way too long but gives you more of an idea of the area and a good closeup of the monolith itself:

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay tooooooooooo looooooooooooooong! Over 15 minutes before we see the actual monolith? Whew, thank gawd for the FF button. Beautiful natural scenery though---kinda worth it just for that.

Nice drone work too---the creator obviously into these sorts of productions--very well done in fact.

Close up the monolith looks much like a low-buck piece rivited together probably right on the spot. Previously I thought it was a welded sculpture of sorts, might have been air-lifted in? Looks like it could have been packed in by hand and simply assembled right where it was to stand.

Kinda disappoiting it wasn't a better crafted prank.
