Jackson Hole "Meet and Greet" June 21st thru 23rd
The boss (my wife) first saw the Tetons while on a family vacation from northern Illinois and vowed at age 9 to move west as soon as possible. 40 years later she persuaded a visiting bear to leave our camp on their west side. (Rangers said there were no grizzlies in the neighborhood, so the shovel-nosed, paw scraping, above tree-line critter remains unidentified.) Now she says we should come, so I agree. It's on our calendar.

Great pics. Very beautiful. Been snowboarding Jackson before and would love to visit with warmer temps.
A maybe for us from so cal. Baby #2 will be 4 months. Too soon?

Never too soon.
My daughter went everywhere with me - I used to joke, "that is what Duct Tape is for; to make a handle or tie her on." She's 22 now, so she survived. She is a wonderful young lady and we have great memories. She learned to "roll with the punches" and doesn't suffer from Chronic Dissatisfaction like so many others do.
P.s. They turn 22 in the blink of an eye - you only have them for a short time; start early.

Between #1 being able to help with #2 and the drone of the diesel engine a road trip shouldn't be too bad. At least that's what I'm counting on this summer!

My brother carried his six month old son in a back pack while he was out deer hunting. That kid is now a real outdoorsman. I think a baby can handle the luxury of an SMB in the woods.

That made me chuckle. I always joke about taking my 2 year old to the range in a carrier so she can help catch brass.
