Speaking of having lakes to yourself, we're sitting by one alone tonight near Seeley Lake MT. I can't believe no one has shown up on a Friday night with such great weather. We finally got a break from the rain in the last couple of days.

Last night was Bowman Lake on the west side of Glacier. Highly recommended.
Night before we stealth camped at Logan Pass. Night before was near Many Glacier. Hiked out of there to Grinell Glacier. Also highly recommended.

For anyone not aware, the mountain across the lake from Many Glacier Lodge is the same mountain pictured at the beginning of many movies in the Paramount Pictures logo.

Brian, no we have never crossed in to Canada. We plan to soon but didn't this trip. Thanks for the recommendation!

Awesome Eric.

No issues stealth camping at Logan and I assume you weren't alone?

Eric - glad you two are having a great time!

You mentioned rain - did you get a chance to install the shut off panel between the awning and the gutter? I do not think we ever got to covering that mod.

Nope, 5 or 6 of us that night. Rangers knew we were there. No problems. Can't last forever though.

No awning mounted yet but I know about the mod.
