There were many options on Beartooth Hwy in WY and Chief Joseph Hwy to overnight. I should have stopped, but decided to press on. Photos from Chief Joseph Hwy:

When my wife and I did the BearTooth back in Late June of 2016 - after having done Alaska in 85 degree weather - up the Dalton Hwy with no kettle ponds - meaning no mosquitos and no migratory birds -- we drove thru a canyon of snow (BTooth) - plowed drifts were like 12-16 feet high ! And of course there's no "warming" goin' on -- !?
Ooops - nice photos and updates "marret" -- we met at Maryland "meet-greet" back in 2021.

Roger meeting. I do admit to being terrible about linking people to their forum name.
Yep on snow at elevation. Lucky you made it with no kettle ponds. I hope to give it a go next year earlier.
