Re: Overland Expo in Flagstaff May 15-17
Now I see the reason for roof-top tents.
I'm going to hit the Expo first thing Sunday morning and then head down to Sedona where the trails will be shredtastic with this rain. If anyone wants to join, I'm planning on a Double H but can adjust accordingly.

Dust. And the vehicle being towed out backwards in the dark Friday night that slid and braked to a halt just outside our SMB (in the picture). When they got it going again, it missed us, slid between the SMB and the white jeep in front of us, leaving its tracks about one foot in front of its fender. The owner and I shared our mutual relief the next morning.

I was out scouting your area for potential forum members and slip skidding around in rain boots. Didn't see anyone moving around so continued on. Sorry I missed you, maybe tomorrow. Over near Aluminess area next to Gooseberry and John in the Nissan with CCV Top.
Also while out there I witnessed a 2wd sprinter being towed by a Jeep Cherokee, then a Jeep Rubicon and finally a Toyota truck. Alll three strapped together pulling away. Have a great video of it.

Wow, looks ugly. I would love to see more carnage and mud pics. It's all I have.

Re: Overland Expo in Flagstaff May 15-17
Mass exodus yesterday... Never been before so no idea on turnout levels. My little boy and I had a ball checking stuff out and sitting in on some seminars/classes. Will upload a comical vid of 3 Jeeps dragging out an Earthroamer equipped with less than ideal rubber from the camping area shortly. Got a good laugh out of that sight....

Ok. It was 1 'yota and 2 Jeeps... Enjoy! As Chris said it was far nicer weather today. Mud was nasty this am and they called in the infantry to help the less than ideally equipped
