Well how are people going to recognize your van from the SMB ad in Overland Journal?

The picture they published was about ten thousand bucks ago.
I'm guessing 2008. You know they're talking about all those sink holes swallowing up homes. My van is a sink hole that sits on my driveway! But hey, I'm not complaining.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?
I finished adding a 15W solar Battery Minder. The panel is on the roof and the connections are to the battery separator. I was able to remove all of the interior panels to run the wire completely hidden including having it run with the penthouse brake light wire in its loom. My small house battery compartment is behind the rear passenger side wheel well. My only house loads are lights and outlets so that is why so simple. It remains to be seen if it will reach enough voltage to actually charge the house battery through the separator. I can always add a jumper if need be. A bench cushion sits on top of the compartment and I put the quick disconnect outside so I just lean over my bench seat to yank it apart. I still need to find out if I can leave it connected while running the engine.
On edit - Manufacturer says leave it connected while driving. Great!

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?
Today I downloaded the firing order to my Dodge 5.2 ltr. and got my plug wires correct because I had #7 and #5 switched after installing new plugs, cleaning K&N filter and changing the throttle control valve. Maybe I should have posted under my "Doofas time " thread.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?
Improvements to the shop air compressor are for the SMB, right?
Added a solenoid to the compressor output:
The solenoid is powered when the lights are on. When the lights are off, none of the air lines have an air supply (except what is already in the line). Because I have a small leak somewhere, the lines bleed to empty. Turning on the lights will bring the pressure back up in the lines.
And another solenoid at the compressor drain:
The solenoid is wired to open when the compressor runs. There is also a small valve in the drain line. The valve reduces the drain flow to a small dribble, enough to drain the accumulated water but not enough to make the compressor run significantly more. The drain tube goes through the wall and outside. The solenoid is 120V and the compressor is 240V, so the solenoid is wired from one phase to neutral, not across the compressor motor.
I have an extra drain solenoid if anyone wants to do a similar drain, PM me.

What did you do to your SMB today?
Removed the Hella's and installed a rigid 30" bar. I'm going to move it to the top tube and bring it straight out the front of the tube. The current position is right in the middle of the radiators air flow.

This works better for both light output and airflow but I like it down lower for looks.
