Thinking on the best way to set up the multimeter. Both of my starter batteries are mounted to the passenger side of the frame. A pain in the ass to get to anything but the dedicated positive post and the grounding nut. Both next to the batteries.

darkstar66 - where are you located?

re:400A solar panels and Lithium house battery - that is important info. Who installed that system? What is being used for the circuit from chassis (two starter batteries) to house Lithium battery ?

So now that you told us you have lithium house batteries it becomes really important to know what you are using between the house battery system and your van electrical system.

Sorry for the very late reply. I had a medical situation and had to put everything on hold. In regard to your question about what is between my lithium house batteries and my vans electrical system. Not sure what you mean. The only thing from my solar setup that would have anything to do with my vans electrical system would be the aux charger from my alternator to my solar setup. Correct?

And more so, why don't you list your equipment. was this ever a Sportsmobile build, or was this home grown from the get go. On SMB's we can kind of guess the starting point based on the year the van was done. Nothing wrong with home grown, we will just need more information.

In one sentence you use the term isolator, and now you have used aux charger. When I here the term Solar setup, I start thinking like the all in one units (goal zero, jackery, ect)
