Wall and ceiling lights. LED conversion?

So my wall, and ceiling lights are fused according to the manual with a 7.8a fuse (sure those exist... but I digress). The incandescent bulbs do put off noticeable heat which if I were camping up where it snows might be nice, but here in TX, not so much. I want to reduce my power bill as it were.

How do I get these fixtures apart to replace the bulbs, and what are the actual bulbs in there so I can order up the appropriate LEDs?

Not sure what fixtures you're referencing. Post pictures please...

Also, lots of information on this topic has been posted previously on this forum.

Yeah, it would help if I knew what to search for to find the topic info...

Not sure why the forum software rotated my image on upload, it is correct on my phone and in Google drive...

I am unaware of any different ceiling / wall llights aside from the lamps whcih are a bit more obvious.

I THINK but am not certain that the lens cover is held on by the ends, / screws in the end pieces where the switches are, but I wanted to be certain before i go fishing this apart.

My thought process here is replace the heat generating energy sucking bulbs to retirement and replace them with some tiny juice sipping LEDs, at the reaar between the back doors tap into the circuit for a dual USB power port that will power LED light strips that will run the length of the interior on either side of the opening for the penthouse. Reduce overall electrical use, increase lighting options, win win.

Looks like Twoxentrix shared a couple of good threads. As far as removing the lens cover on that fixture. You should push in along both long sides of the diffuser (cover) and it should come right off.

So I popped the lens cover off of the one by the sliding door, and one of the bulb holders literally fell out. I guess I just need to replace with a new LED fixture. But at least I see how they come apart now.

Okay bar type LED fixtures ordered. Lamps have been upgraded to LED bulbs already. Once delivery is done, I get to make the connection for these, And the USB outlets for the strip lights. Yay, fix and upgrade!

I have those same fixtures. Since they have two switches I put red LEDs in one set of sockets and white in the others -- that way I have the option to use red light when I get up in the middle of the night and don't want to ruin my night vision.

I also had Thinlite fluorescents. I removed the tubes and ballast circuit boards and used stick-on LED tape to convert them to LED.

Regarding Post #4 and light seen - if these "were" fluorescents - ballasts have to be removed also don't they ?

They aren't flourescents. 12v, no ballast. Just wire in new LED strips.
