I got my jack today and the Agile adapter a couple of days ago. As a bonus, I received two carrying bags.

Is it OK that the round fitting on the top of the jack is wobbly?

I'm guessing that's normal but thought I'd check.

My round fitting is also loose, but once the adapter is in place, it is very stable. I suspect that there was a lifting point on the frame of the original vehicles that these knobs fit into.

Thanks, and, although the Agile attachment is beautifully made, I think a much less expensive, welded steel version would work as well.

It's clear that buying this was the right thing to do. When I put the OEM bottle jack against the Hummer jack I wonder how one could ever change a tire with the bottle jack.

Sometimes a picture is indeed worth a thousand words, so I borrowed this photo from Calclimber's album (hope that's OK). If faced with a similar failure, I would feel much more comfortable using my Hummer/Agile jack to a bottle jack...

If anyone is "on the fence" about this, as I was, get off the fence and buy one.

Unfortunately, it looks like the ebay prices are increasing. This looks like the best current deal, but act quickly, only seven available:

Thought I'd add some photos of my own, additional views of the Hummer jack in action. I needed to swap a slow leaking tire & wheel from my 2000 E250 2WD van for its spare, second time I've used the jack since it first arrived.

As flat as can be:

Showing jack completely lowered, Agile adapter with flat top in place under left side radius arm/I-Beam:

Showing left front side raised enough to remove wheel/tire, under vehicle:

Raised enough to re-mount tire/wheel, outside the vehicle:

Ordinarily I'd have used my Unijack with its integrated jack stand safety catch but for this quick and simple task the Hummer jack was stable enough.

I did discover the Milwaukee 3/8" M18 impact bought for this sort of task might not be as stout in removing lugs as I've originally posted. It has been almost 6 years since the lugs were loosened, the wheel covers always in place and only removed for jobs like this. I'll have to look into this a bit more, could be the battery was slightly below full charge but that shouldn't have affected its nut busting power.

I'm glad to see BCam has drunk the Kool-Aid we others have already partaken---good to be in great company!

Could someone comment on the base dimensions length and in particular, width? Does this setup weigh more than the stock jack?

Base is 12" long x 7" wide - in the collapsed position it sits 7" high (add 3" if you place the Agile adapter on the top). If you use the handy canvas bag supplied (holding the Tools & Jack) it measures 23" long x 7" Wide x 7" tall)

Bummer, I've got 6.75 wide in the water tank storage section..my scale off from the pictures was optimistic
Thanks
