No sensors on any of these type of guages that I've ever heard of. It's pretty amazing all the info that a modern ECM is privy to and the driver isn't. Just plug most of these in to your OBDII.

For a long time I ran a spare smart phone running the Forscan app. It told me a LOT and is completely free if you already have a phone or tablet mounted. You just need a bluetooth OBDII dongle, like $5 on ebay. Make sure you do your homework and get one that is compatible with your vehicle, device, etc.

EGT is the only sensor that I added, everything else comes from the OBD sensor. You can customize the display to show the sensors that you want to monitor.

I strongly recommend the CTS-3. I replaced my scan gage after many years. Don't know why I waited. Easily customize the screen for the gages you want. SO many options. It reads everything the SG didn't. Very happy.

Ok, so just spoke with a rep and he confirmed that if I go with the Edge Insight, I would need to order and install the EGT probe (part # EP98620 for $134) as well.
