The wheels that are on the van in the last photos are factory 3140 alloys...no one is supposed to notice the dodge caps I have been trying some new wheels out. And will post them next.
The rack is home built....but if you research ujoint's racks that is a close solution to building your own. High quality and affordable. Good luck
Lift:
Is that a two wheel drive with just a lift?
Which lift did you get Performance Suspension System or Ultimate Suspension System?
Did you do the lift yourself?
Did you raise the rear of the Van?
Fiberine Top on Your old Van:
Did you have Fiberine install your 24" Bubble top?
Did you insulate the top, if so how did you do it?
What are your plans for your new Van?
The new van has a action van 4" lift front and rear and it is still 2wd. If I were to do it again I would do the ujoint conversion. I installed it myself and it was as much labor as a partial 4wd conversion.
The fiberine top was also self installed on my previous van, it is real basic sawzall to cut the hole and then bolted and screwed. I used the reverse lip so no exterior trim was needed. I purchased the non insulated and added carpet to the inside for sound and insulation.
My plans are pretty minimal for interior on my current , I have double benches for the back that fold into a bed. They are removable and I use those when camping and traveling. I've put so far just over 60,000 miles in the past year and is probably my favorite van that I've owned.
Mr.Spurious Your work is VANTASTIC!!!!! I have a 2001 E150 and would like to add a Eurovan pop top as you did, could you please tell what year you used? Thank you so much. Tim
Last I contacted the Ujoint folks they no longer made racks, and I've never welded. If you need to get rid of that one I'm in Denver...Beautiful work, by the way.
