Re: East Coast Ground up

Are you going to reuse the econo cargo walls? I got a set and used them after insulating and sound deadening they work great and fit the van nice and tight so we could have a little wider bed. Easy to keep clear too and with a little trim work they look good we think.

Good job on the rear under mount cut out.

Re: East Coast Ground up

Thanks Ultra.
Not reusing the cargo walls. Not sure what we will do with wall covering. Getting under van storage box in a few days. Ordered aluminess bumper and just mounted one of 2 side ladders.Have to drive 5 hrs to NJ to get all the windows installed next week. Decided to let a pro do it and not worry. Actually his price with install is close to what I would be paying anyhow...
Plan is to have all exterior items including high top installed then save over winter to finish in spring... Thats the plan anyhow. We still have our class C 25ft to serve us in between....
Cheers

Re: East Coast Ground up

Thanks everyone for your help so far. Got alot accomplished last cpl weeks again thanks to this forum.
Removed all surface rust, filled all pre-existing bolt holes, primed then insulated and layed out 1/2' ply subfloor using factory mat as a template...

Re: East Coast Ground up

Drive myself crazy trying to get pics in order but I'm sure I'll figure it out by the time "Great White" (Decided on the name seeing we started during shark week and she is being set up as a surf van)
Next thing accomplished.Undervan storage
Sam ( Damned if I can remember his forum user name at the moment)
Anyhow. He built my undervan storage box and shipped it to me with all hardware and shims to install perfectly. Not to mention he was quick to respond to all my questions prior and during install..
