Would love to see the interior. Seems like a great price.

If the outside is that beat up then I can't imagine the interior would be much of a prize, specifically since they said it "needs work".
I guess the price isn't too crazy so may be a great start if you had $5k to $10k to put into it after purchase.

Re: 2000 4x4 GTRV Quigley Oregon $18,500
Hello,
This is my Van. I don't have any interior pics but i have been told everything in there works. Its full of my uncles personal stuff. I think the pop top handle needs adjusting but still works. My aunt is 70+ and she makes it work. Other than that it may need some new curtains in the side and rear.
I took possession of this vehicle in oct, took some pics and left it at a friends. I do not live in Medford. I wanted to test the waters with that CL post. Since i put it on there i have got a overwhelming response. I had no way to value it when i put that price up. I can not find a site to value it, so i ran some comps and came to that price.
Did i underprice this vehicle ? Please let me know if anybody can help.
Thanks.

If the interrior is in good shape I'd say it's priced about right.

If you are trying to sell a unique,$20,000 vehicle, you really need to post good photos inside and outside, along with good details. Otherwise you are going to spend lots of time answering basic questions that could be done once in the ad.

I think the price is about right if the interior is in 'fair' shape as the outside is. I say fair because of the dents. I think it might be a 21-22k sale if the dents were fixed and the interior is fairly clean. I think you might have to take a little less than you're asking on CL without a lot of knowledge and maintenance history of the vehicle. Some don't care about that stuff but some do.
Good luck!

Re: 2000 4x4 GTRV Quigley Oregon $18,500
Yeah, I agree that it's really gonna be kinda hard to sell something online without posting any good inside pics for distant buyers to consider.
Rig has high mileage.....not for its age but just from a tranny repair and maintenance standpoint (how can they all be hwy miles if it's a 4WD convo?). I only mention this cause all the dents may make a buyer think rig was not cared for well mechanically.
That being said, it's an interesting enough rig and should sell somewhere in the range of your price...
Also.......Mid winter weather can be a bummer for out of towners to get out to see the van, and you really need to be up there with the rig to try to sell it though (seller is not in town where van is located).

Re: 2000 4x4 GTRV Quigley Oregon $18,500
I missed that it's a GTRV popup from the ad. You really need some pictures of the inside and with the top up.
We have property in Wolf Creek (10 minutes from Medford). Unfortunately I never go up there either!
I'd start a new thread in General or Campfire asking if anyone wants to go take pictures, check out top and van for you to be able to post more accurately. Might be a member nearby or passing through who would want to do this, you never know.

Re: 2000 4x4 GTRV Quigley Oregon $18,500
It would also help to reassure buyers if you had some maintenance records to share.
The V-10 had some expensive and scary issues with spark plugs popping out or being over-torqued and also with exhaust manifold bolts breaking. So a buyer would really want to know any history of tuneups (plug changes) and other repairs.
(You mentioned to me in a pm that you might get up there @ January 1 to clean it out and take pics.... Any progress with that?)
