I 2nd the Ashville and Kill Devil recommendations but the advantage of the Jasper over a Ford reman is it will come with headstuds so your halfway there to bulletproofing at least in regard to head gaskets.

And I presume those prices include labor?

I installed the Kill Devil Diesel O-ringed heads on mine when I did my bulletproofing with Studs etc. I was temped to do their Long block but mine was still in good condition. If I'm right it is only about $4k more than the Heads and studs and gaskets. Don't forget a new wiring harness while you are there. Good luck with the upgrade.
