This is a picture of a carputer program that I use to run on my old van. It was called Ride Runner. I believe that you are referring to the button called Plugin Mgr , which just brought up a screen that shoed the plugins installed. The plugins were additional code that allowed you to run specific devices. All of it went away with better mobile phones and things like apple car play

Thats the IDM, not the ECU.

I think the ECU is near the master cylinder on vans.
