The open/close mechanism on this window appears to be stripped (it just spins without engaging). I have tried tightening the screw in the knob. I don’t really want to take it apart further without knowing what I am getting into so wondering if any one has any experience with this type window/mechanism. Or other advice. thanks.
Ps: dont ask about the strings wrapped around the mechanism!
