We finally got to install the first set of full LED projector retrofit headlights on ghetto fireman's awesome SMB yesterday and the results were outstanding. These are plug and play with no wiring needed and provide very clear and crisp output. The installation was a breeze and brings these lights into reach for installation by most people. Scott,
Almost pulled the trigger on a set of your HID's and then read your earlier post commenting on you LED endeavor. Like many others, I'm in pursuit of a set of replacement Head lights for my 06 that would produce exceptional results (already tried various bulb upgrades that proved better than OEM, but still not satisfied with the results), and from your pictures the new LED's are certainly a huge improvement.
Now i'm compelled to solicit your opinion as to which of your lights provide the best results...LED or HID? Longevity & Price aside, just illuminating the road in front of me which performs better?

Side note: ghetto fireman - Good looking rig!

In terms of pure output the LED versions are brightest by about 10%. Their plug and play installation and lack of bulb warm-up time puts them high on my list. These do lose a little width to the HID versions, but the forward distance lighting is superb.
