Was there ever a follow-up on this a week later? Having a Bay Area meetup somewhere would be exciting, especially if it was after ~May 10 when I'm back in CA.

I would think that a Saturday is best for a first-ever , or Sunday.
Location isn’t important but should be as central as possible fir those interested.

I think the hardest part about this is going to be finding a parking lot somewhere that will host a dozen vans(or more) in the same general area.

The Blackhawk Car Museum came to mind, it seems to lend itself as a pretty good meeting spot for those in Napa or Livermore as well as people in the east-bay. That said, I think they might be feeling a bit 'burned' by the car clubs that they used to host for Cars & Coffee. It may still be possible to coerce them into setting aside their small eastern portion of the parking lot for a Saturday morning, I haven't asked simply because I don't know how much interest there is in this.

I think a reasonable meet time might be Saturdays 9-11 AM?

Other locations people might be interested in visiting?
Other thoughts in general?

Thinking suitable dates (At least for me) would fall on May 11 or May 18 (Both are Saturdays), maybe 8-10AM at a coffee joint.... No Starbucks (By all means, we can meet up at a Starbucks, I'll just be the guy with a Peet's mug).

I might suggest Peet's Coffe on Crow Canyon Road (San Ramon), it would be a longer drive (~42mi) for the guys coming from SF. I'm not really picky where the spot lands, since it seems like Oakland is in the middle of everything.

Looks like there is interest from SanFran(4x), Burlingame, Napa, & Livermore, unless I missed someone. If anyone has a location/dates/times that they'd want to go, offer up?

Edit-- Also wondering if I should recreate this thread in the right section and label it as a SFBay meet-up so people know what it is, rather than "Hello from San Ramon"..?
