For what I'm paying for transport, I feel like it should have a live web cam I can watch in real time on my iPhone.

Got some work done on the van yesterday. Oil change, new propane alarm, CO alarm, smoke alarm, LEDs in the reading lamps, LED map lights, indoor/outdoor thermometer for the fridge and the most important addition of all:

Tomorrow I'll start work on converting all the fluorescent fixtures to LED.

You don't have a bottle opener? I got one of those on my van, my old GS, my cabin, my garage, my backyard....

If it wouldn't hurt so much, I'd have one on my forehead.

It may have just reminded him that it was almost 7:00pm on a Saturday and he hadn't had a beer yet. Not sure how that's even possible that you wouldn't be drinking a beer at that time but maybe he's starting to forget things

Actually it reminded me that I was out and needed to go to the store. That's when my van crapped out (different thread) And I didn't JUST start forgetting things, it's been going on for quite a while, you been spying on me?

Glad you're back up and running. Sounds like I need to add some things to my spare parts bin, including a 7mm socket.

Did some LEDs in the larger fixtures today. The kitchen fixture got three strips for extra light but is smaller so actually has the same number of LEDs ha!

Not sure what I'm going to do with the two remaining small fixtures. They each have two switches and three bulbs - one switch controlling the two outer bulbs and the other controlling the center bulb. These are over the rear couch where the dogs will be sleeping. Might wire up the LEDs kind of the same way. One switch could control a couple of 12" LED strips and the other switch could control a little strip with just two or three LEDs as a night light, or maybe red LEDs. Hmmm.

Had the Ravelco installed today, and picked up a steering wheel lock to add to the brake pedal lock. She's spending her first night out on the wild streets of San Francisco tonight. Knock on wood.

Work continued today, but on slightly less sophisticated security measures. I installed a set of single-key cabinet locks on every cabinet that contains anything I care about, right down to our beach towels. Forgot to take pics. Tomorrow I'm going to round out the hinge screws so they can't just get the doors off with a screwdriver.

Tried to take the dash bezel off to install a couple of USB chargers, but can't get that damn clip off the headlight switch. Did this a million times on the old van, but this one doesn't want to budge. Might just cut the knob off and buy a new one when I'm done.

Also need to call Revelco and see which, if any, systems that their system does not affect to see what I can do to further security via fuel pump cutoff, etc. We'll see how willing they are to give up that kind of info.
