Yeah, it works great on the rear door!

Re: Secrets?

I have mine on the rear door. Works fine. Actually had to use it while Christmas shopping a couple of weeks ago. I was pretty happy to have it!

Re: Secrets?

5 digits open the driver's door. A 6th opens the rest of the doors.

Re: Secrets?

Wow, seven responses/questions in less than two hours.

Thanks for the responses guys. Looks like something else on my to-do list (not that I need more). I do need to check my van's original window sticker to see if it came with the factory wireless remote.

Re: Secrets?

I'd check my keychain and see if it has a Ford remote fob.

Chances are if you have a remote and factory power locks it was all factory. If your remote is part of an aftermarket security system, all bets are off.

Re: Secrets?

So, once again this site costs me money.

I just ordered a remote keypad from Tousley Ford $65.45 +~$6 shipping.

Now all I have to do is hide a spare key inside the van and I'll be ok if I lose mine. Or lock them in the van. Or have my brother lock the doors with the van running - again!

Re: Secrets?

Mike - I actually left the van running and locked the doors on purpose, thinking the keypad would open it. It didn't work. I don't know why, but I won't make that mistake again...

Re: Secrets?

Thanks,

I guess I better test that also. And with the normal remote.
