Re: What went wrong?

Re: Shifter - loose?

Not bad to fix this issue if you find the answer first! I had this problem getting worse for a while, then a bolt fell out and it wouldn't go into park at all. Found the fix on f150 site. Look up and...

Re: Review of my RV design specifications and drawings?

I'd love to take a look at it and may have some insight. I've done 3 camper vans and am on number 4 now. This is the toughest one yet. Used for travel for work with quite a bit of gear, daily driver,...

Re: Ford SMB's pre-2000: reminder about fire hazard

Had my 95 passenger van burn quite a few years ago. It was under the building at a crowded beach condo where I lived and worked at the time. During memorial day weekend no less- the building was full...

Re: 88 e350 EB top fit 2003 e350 EB?

I know the older body style had a flat or nearly flat gutter line. The newer one has a Slight curve that is higher in the middle. I haven't had a chance to see one yet, but I think the newer roof may...

Re: push out van windows

Greydawg,
My 95 takes a Phillips for some of
the plastic trim and the bottom latch. The top hinges look like a 10mm.

Saabman,
I like your thinking. Will look at them later today in my e350 to see if I can get them
to open wider.

Re: Solar direct air conditioner

Since we're thinking out loud, I was thinking the other day about a 12 volt motor that attaches to the factory ac compressor. No idea how much power it would require to run or the rpm's needed. Too...

Re: Terrible Smell - Dead Animal? - Please Help!

I found a dead animal inside the wall of our metal building once. Look for green bottle flies. They eat dead things. Saw one go under the baseboard, tore out that section of wall and found a slimy...

Re: Bigduke6's too many functions build

Troy,
covers for pop out windows are black Formica to the outside. They fit tight so the edge of the window trim holds them to the glass. Marine vinyl glued to the inside is a little larger and held...

Re: New to Forum -- couple of quick questions

We have a few sprinters at work and the stock seats are the worst things I've ever sat in. The geometry isn't that bad but the cushions feel like they're made of cement. One German engineer couldn't...

I have A 1995 e350 and really miss having a sliding side door. Has anybody traded the barn doors for a slider? Haven't even seen one in person so wondering how much body work is required.
Thanks,...

Re: Insulation Help for side-body insulation? Any suggestions?

Not sure but I think the body is the same. Both mine have been passenger vans with the factory side windows. If you have the rear ac they are probably the same. Mine has two fairly large holes in the...

Re: Insulation Help for side-body insulation? Any suggestions?

I'm doing my E350 right now. I put fiberglass(pulled from leftover attic insulation) between the panels on the pass side, then put a layer of reflectix over everything using 3M super 77. The drivers...
