While most of us strive to camp in pristine locations with fantastic views sometimes it just doesn't work out... Couple of weeks ago while driving Hwy 36 between Redding and Eureka, I ran short of daylight and public lands so found a little isolated parcel of BLM land to spend the night. Supper quiet spot, but the abandoned Jeep took away some of the ambiance.

That just happens sometimes. That's the benefit to the van though, self contained. When we had just a rtt it was way sketchier to camp in those situations.

It shouldn't have provoked your van.

Nothing special (at least for y'all), but so enjoyable, each and every time. Mountain biking is the primary activity, but the hot shower and cold beers are the icing on the cake.
