It finally happened last weekend. With Nrobert10's help this weekend we installed a hightop that we salvaged a month earlier from a pick and pull. Installed a Maxx Fan before we screwed and glued the top on, very impressed with the amount of air this thing can move!
My RB with a fixed top on the left and Rob's EB with pop top on the right.
Cyrull, how much interior standing room do you have?
I believe the quote I received from Fiberine had it listed at $800 to ship to Portland OR plus a $400 crating fee. Not sure what they charge for the install but I seem to recall someone on here recently posting their total cost was close to 5k with Fiberine doing the install. Based on my quote, that would lead me to believe they're charging $1000-1200 for an install. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that though
You might find someone through U-ship or some other shipping service who has a flat trailer and can transport it for you.
A fellow in Ontario who produces two different high tops for Vanagons delivers to distributor/installers with the rig below. He uses the saddle for five or more and may not need it for fewer tops in one load. Crating may or may not be advisable for a single.

I’m getting about 6’2-3 that is with passenger van carpet and a bare fibreglass roof. I suspect I will lose an inch or two once I add in acoustic/thermal material with a new floor.

If you want higher you will probably need to look at the 30inch Voyager top, otherwise you will need to look into pop top territory.
yea that is the option, Fiberine claims 6'3" "at the highest" in their 24" top but its not clear if that is finished or unfinished etc. Our van is the RB and what I can find of the RB with the 30" top just looks too weird. We have an SMB pop top now and were considering the CCV high roof pop top but I like the cost savings and full time height of the high roof if we are gonna go that path so I was just hoping the 24" would work but I dont think it will ... thanks for the info guys, appreciate it.
